We plan to use your donation for training gardeners in both the Urban Agriculture and Greening Programs.
The Urban Agriculture program is enabling residents of the Cape Flats to grow their own vegetables and add variety and essential nutrients into their simple diets.
The Greening program turns schools, crèches and households into attractive environments by planting abundant indigenous plants.
Our training interventions enable the micro-farming and gardening movement to improve their sustainability through improved production of organic vegetables and transformation of the dusty township home plots and comunity spaces into water wise indigenous floral and also medicinal gardens.
