Zizamele was created by six community entrepreneurs in Masiphumelele, Southern Peninsula, Cape Town. For the past year these five women and one young man have undergone training at the False Bay College - Noerdhook Campus to become professional ceramics crafters. Their flagship creation, the 'Bambanani Bowl' has met with good success at various community trade fairs. We now seek support to help the Zizamele entrepreneurs with their transition from unemployed township residents to becoming successful entrepreneurs. The Zizamele group regularly holds community meetings to convince others of having the courage and taking the step into becoming financially self sufficient. Zizamele have become role models for many others in Masiphumelele contemplating their future. |
