The blankets will be given to the children to keep them warm during the cold Winter nights.

These books will assist us to educate the children at Sive Nathi

This will provide stimulation for the childrens development.

The better the staff are trained the more equiped they are t deal with the children's needs.

We work with community volunteers and International volunteers and International volunteers from a volunteer organization called SASTS Working Adventures based in Cape Town. They send us two or three volunteers after every two months. The community volunteers come in weekends and some during the week.

 

We request the volunteer to provide us with his/her personal details, educational details, skills and expertise and a reference. Most of them help us with the feeding, bathing, and physio training for the kids and help the children, who are struggling at school with their work. We don’t have any financial requirements with our volunteers.

 

Since the home is still looking for funding to employ more staff, the volunteers are closing that gap a little whereas we are still looking for more staff to employ in the future, but their attendance to the home plays a big role in the home.
