Executive Summary
The Goedgedacht Trust was established in 1993 to respond to the needs of rural communities on the West Coast. It works from a beautiful Cape Dutch Farm, with title deeds going back to 1704. This farm is situated on the slopes of the Kasteelberg, 87 kms North West of Cape Town. From this beautiful setting a variety of poverty alleviation programmes have been launched.
So many good news stories, its difficult to know where to start !
We had a brilliant olive harvest -26 tons- 4000 litres of high quality olive oil - income to be used to support of our community projects

We acknowledge receipt of the donation and see that according to the deposit slip it is earmarked as an olive tree donation. We will therefore be planting two olive trees. The donation covers the price of the tree, the planting and the care of the tree for 5 years until it bears its first fruit.
