Mission Statement
To create, grow and maintain an environment in which the terminally ill members of our community can experience care, safety and dignity during their final phases of their life.
Executive Summary

St Bernard's Hospice is a non-profit, Non Government Organisations who offers home based Palliative care to terminally ill HIV/AIDS, Cancer and Motor Neuron disease patients for the community of the Buffalo City Municipality area.

We care for over 500 HIV/AIDS patients in their homes, including children and AIDS orphans. A full data base of all patients is in place and we adhere to all relevant legislation regarding the Public Financial Act, Health Act, Nursing Act and all other relevant legislation. Funding from government is not guaranteed and therefore we have to do our fundraising to enable us to care for our patients.
