King Williams Town and District SPCA (KWT and District SPCA)
Mission Statement
The King Williams Town SPCA is to prevent cruelty to animals in all its forms. This is the sole reason for our existence. Whether prevention takes the form of education, pro-active work, dipping clinics, outreach programmes or reactive work, the sole purpose is the Prevention of cruelty to animals.
Executive Summary

The King Williams Town SPCA was established in 1957. It is run by a committee of 5 volunteers. We employ 9 members of staff. King Williams Town does not have a vet and the closest vet is 60km away. As a result the demand on our services has quadrupled.

We have two qualified Animal Welfare Assistants and 2 qualified SPCA Inspectors. We cover a huge geographical area and most of the work we do is amongst the indigent population in our area.
