Thank you so much to all those GreaterGood donors who gave so generously to the 2005 Donate a Book campaign. With your help we have achieved the following:
Books for PreSchoolers
The Pink & Blue Day Care Centre situated in the Mpumalanga Province had sent a request for a donation for books to Biblionef.
The school accommodates 35 children from 8 months to 12 years. The school is situated 15km from a public library. With the monies received from Greater Goods we donated 45 books to the school in English, Zulu and Multilingual.
The school has confirmed that ‘children in Grade R have already shown a great improvement in their reading abilities due to the messages in the stories. Which is exactly what these children require for motivation of their minds’.
Children's Reference Books
The following primary schools each received the Webster Dictionary and the Oxford Concise Dictionary:
Hoechst Primary School - located in Mpumalanga Province
Sothembani Combined School- located in Mpumalanga Province
Dipodi Primary School - located in North West Province
Sothembani Combined School – located in Mpumalanga Province
