Baphumelele currently is home to 74 orphaned, abused, abandoned and vulnerable children with another 350 who attend our day care programme.

 

Recently we raised enough money to build new sleeping quarters for the children and we are enormously grateful to our sponsors for this.  We now need to equip our new dormitory with 15 double bunk beds and our infant and toddler’s dormitory requires 7 more cot beds.

 

We also need 60 warm sheets, furpile blankets and pillows for the older children and 28 baby sheets and blankets for the younger children.  Curtains, carpets, heaters on the walls for winter and other comforts of home would be wonderful too.
