This is not simply a bulletin board.  Rather it is a list of specifically verified proposals that have been priced by ourselves.  Wherever possible we have negotiated discounts with potential suppliers whose support is indicated in the proposal itself.  If anything is unclear, we make sure all the questions are asked so that you can understand how and why these items will make a difference for the greater good of South Africa.

You can search these submissions by either looking under the category of your interest in the left hand column or by looking under the value bands on the right.  Alternatively, if you have your own time and/or other specific items to donate (e.g. volunteer workers, furniture, kitchenware, stationery, computers etc.) you can search by item and by area (e.g. computers, Cape Town).  You will then get a list of proposals for organisations who are requesting your specific item and who are situated close to you.

Note: If the proposal is for an amount that is more than you can afford, remember that you can make a contribution to any part of it by simply specifying your amount and what you would like it to be used for.

When a proposal is funded, GreaterGood South Africa ensures the materials are purchased and delivered to the chosen cause.  We also ensure that the organisation benefiting from your gift provides us with photographs and a detailed report of on the impact and benefit of your support and the difference it has made.  This report with photos and a receipt will be posted on the site under “Cause Reportback” and a copy forwarded to you.
