Kuyasa Handmade Paper Products are made from from Port Jackson Willow and recycled office paper and are therefore all environmentally friendly.
The project was established to provide income generation and skills training to previously unemployed women from from the Masiphumelele and Ocean View townships near Fish Eagle Park in Kommetjie, Cape Town.
These women have now established a sound business that will soon be entirely sustainable.
The paper they produce is used to manufacture gift items such as photo frames, photo albums, journals, wine cylinders, conference folders, greeting cards, and a variety of gift boxes.
Kuyasa products have a very distinct decorative style which appeals to a wide market.
These large (A4) notebooks (210x295mm) contain 30 handsewn pages and are easy enough to carry with you wherever you go. |
