Product Order & Delivery Lead Times

Items purchased in The Good Shop are all high quality handmade products manufactured by various Non Profit Organisations as part of their sustainability and income-generation strategies.  These initiatives ensure that each organisation can become independent and economically productive and the income generated is used to further their mission and work for the GreaterGood of South Africa.

 

One of the key difficulties faced by many of these organisations is the step from product creation to marketing and sales, most particularly as there it is difficult to raise funds to produce “stock items” to sell.  This statement is not designed to provoke an “Ag Shame” response.  Nor are any of the products in The Good Shop remotely “Ag Shame” products.  Rather it reflects the reality of moving from a non profit welfare and/or development organisation to a business entity that does, as part of its central mission, welfare work.

 

GreaterGood South Africa aims to assist these organisations not only by marketing their products on a broad basis, but also with the establishment of product manufacturing funds that will enable them to develop a supply of stock for responsive sales and marketing to the public.  Whilst this process is being pursued, however, it is a reality that many of the product items will be handmade directly in response to orders received.  Thus orders may be subject to a six week order period time although where items are in stock, delivery could be effected within 5 to 10 working days.  We would greatly appreciate your patience and support whilst we continue to take the steps required to ensure immediate delivery and will do all we can to ensure that you product is delivered at the earliest possible moment.

 

Deliveries outside South Africa
At present The Good Shop is not able to automatically process international deliveries as the variety of delivery tariffs, including customs and/or tax charges, have not yet been determined.  However, if you would like to order any items from The Good Shop for international delivery, please email us at with the items you would like to purchase and we will forward you an individual quote for your products, including international delivery and customs tariffs.
