The children in the creches on the wine farms and in the townships have no books to look at or read. In order to stimulate their imaginations, develop their language skills and instill a love of reading, we aim to provide a range of books. The creches that we support are mainly in the Stellenbosch and Somerset West area.

We will be able to equip each creche with a library of books, for the children to read at creche, after school and to borrow to take home to read with their parents. We will also be able to train a member of each community to run a small library, and to take responsibility for the care of the books.
