Day Care Centres in the rural areas battle more to create awareness and have fewer sponsor opportunities than their colleagues in town. The following will bring a sparkle and reward to loyal people working extremely hard in difficult circumstances: Nonzamo Special Day Care Centre Cradock: Need a new printer for the computer and a Xhosa Children's Bible. Thembani Special Day Care Centre: Simpiwe was born without eyes and have to rely on family to bring him to school. A white Cane and the funds to provide training for using the cane . Luvuyo Special Day Care Centre: Schoolfee's are always a problem since many children do not receive dissability grants and parents are mostly unemployed. Schoolfees are only R25-00 and are rarely paid. No child are sent away. We would be grateful if we could find sponsors for the children in the various schools. Luvuyo - 18 Children, Thembani - 12Children, Nonzamo- 44 Chilren. |

- Children Services |
The time and effort of an occupational tharapist at any of these Special Day Care facilities would be appreciated. We also have facilities in Jeffreysbay and Port Elizabeth that can use these services. A volunteer to help repairing toys at the Toy Libraries in Port Elizabeth will take some of the time consuming tasks from the Social Worker on call. |
