Pregnancy Help Centre has a team of (unpaid) volunteer counsellors who are fully trained and equipped in all aspects of counselling a teenager or woman in a crisis pregnancy situation. We are currently looking for more volunteers to join our friendly team. Our annual counselling training course is about to start- it runs every Wednesday from 9am-4pm for nine weeks. Our course is an excellent and interactive introduction to counselling and will give you good basic counselling skills- and it's lot of fun! After completing the training course you will then be able to start the practical side of the training at the Centre. To volunteer we require a commitment from you of one afternoon or morning a week (nb we are open from Monday to Friday from 9am to 4.30pm so you need to be available during those times.)
