The core business of the envisaged `Community Development College Without Walls’ is identification, selection, education and training of a critical mass of multi skilled community development facilitators to be deployed within communities to constitute a broad, formal, integrated, coordinated, efficient, effective and accessible community based delivery system, bridging the gap between communities and stakeholders mandated to eradicate poverty, for example government (especially local government), institutions of learning, civil society forums, faith based organisations and corporates.

The National Community Development Education Programme is an organisation that is working towards broadening community access to and enable stakeholders (government, private sector, para-statals, civil society, non governmental organisations, institutions of learning, community based organisations, funding bodies and faith based organisations) to access marginalised communities. Keep them informed about the communities they wish to assist through research on the needs, demands, priorities, markets, resources and strategies done by the MSCDFs.
