The CDW goes around in the community helping them with challenges including government services and facilitating by channeling the community to where a solution of a particular comes from. The stationery helps when the CDW needs to write down notes of and information when consulting with the communities and in writing weekly reports.
The name tags helps in identifying the CDW. The Jacket and boots are vital and can be very helpful especially during the winter season, in their day-to-day activities CDW spend most of the time walking around in the community and in winter this becomes very challenging. The Cell phone and airtime as a communication tool and most importantly incases of emergency. The travel money assists when CDWs have to travel to the office for report writing and sharing experiences with each other, and this is an exercise done weekly.
By donating towards this wish list the donor will be contributing in helping the CDWs to do their jobs smoothly which in turn helps enhance skills profile of poor and under serviced communities, bridging the gap between government, civil society, other service providers and communities. This in the long run results in poverty stricken communities being self-sustaining.
