Teaching Experience
My teaching experience has been a great challenge to me for the past 9 years. Being trained in high skilled former Bellville College and work in a disadvantaged school was a challenge. As a Natural Science teacher and Physical Education teacher improvisation was always in my mind.
Current Position
My current grades are grade 7 and 8 and Iam teaching English and Natural Science.
My Project
My dream is to take my learners of Grade 7 and 8 to the aquarium which is at the Waterfront, that is where they are going to appreciate the Wonders of Nature. They will be able to witness the Aquatic animals and how they are being fed wich relates to Natural Science.

LA: Natural Science LO 2: Constructing Science knowledge While the presenter will be busy explaining the difference between Vertebrates and Invertebrates, learners will apply their knowledge on how htose animals without a back bone move? Learners will have to write down the classes of vertebrates and give two or three examples of each class. They have to examine their body structure, body division, body covering nutrition as well as how they move (locomotion). At the end of this activity, I want my learners to know the differences vertebrate and inverterbrate and also give their examples. LA: Languages LO 1: Listening When the presenter is giving this lesson, learners will give their undivided attention LO 2: Speaking The learners will ask question about what they are being asked and relate the information given to what they learning in class LO 4: Writing: After the excursion learners will fininsh a task about what they have learnt at the Aquarium in their classwork books LO 5: Thinking and Reasoning Learners will exercise their thinking and reasoning skills. Question why are other animals covered with scales and others with soft skin LO 6; Language Structure and use My learners will write a poem at least eight lines describing what animals they liked and why. Outcomes Tirgeted I want my learners to appriciate the Wonders of life and what it represents and how other animals leave in water They must be able to identify and be able to solve problems I want them to learn to work as a team Learners to be able to communicate effectively and creatively They must collect, organize and evaluate information.
